Lauren Myers Class of 2005
Lauren recently studied abroad in Peru for 4 months with a group from UNC-Chapel Hill.
"Being at Machu Picchu I found this big rock to sit on that overlooked Machu Picchu down to the right and the rest of the Andes to the left. The view was breathtaking. It was so beautiful and such a humbling experience. Seeing the beauty of these mountains reminded us of how great our God is and how he created all of this for us to enjoy. It was also humbling to see how big our world is and to know that even though we are so small, that the Lord still cares about each one of us. It was such an awesome God moment!"
