DYSLEXIA SEMINAR
A FREE 3 hour dyslexia seminar is being offered by Susan Barton at
First Assembly Christian School on Thursday, March 18 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Susan Barton is recognized internationally as an expert in the fields of Dyslexia and
ADD. She is the founder of Bright Solutions for Dyslexia and travels the country
educating parents and teacher about 1) the unique warning signs of dyslexia, 2) effective
reading and spelling programs, and 3) necessary classroom accommodations.
Please attend if you know someone who has at least
three or more of the following warning signs:
  • Terrible spelling
  • Difficulty learning to tie shoes
  • Mixing up the sounds and syllables in long words
  • Dreads going to school
  • Slow, choppy, inaccurate reading
  • Chronic ear infections
  • Can't create words that rhyme
  • Late establishing a dominant hand
  • Frequently confuses left and right
  • Delayed speech
  • Trouble telling time on clock with hands
  • Trouble finding the correct word when speaking
